Many people say that God only helps those who help themselves. But we are imperfect, so we can’t always help ourselves like God could help us. If we could help ourselves the way God can, we would not need any religion at all.

People often think that all they have to do is understand the Bible and say they believe in God. But it is a lot more than that. One must fully accept Jesus Christ as their Higher Power, and believe that He is the Savior. They also must do what God requires, and not just say that they understand it.

No treasure on Earth is timeless like Christianity. People often try to get permanent pleasure from music, movies, games, possessions, books, junk food, and so many other things. I often do the same thing, but I have realized one thing that never gets old or less amusing. That thing is religion. It never gets old to be a Christian. Jesus Christ’s love for us is timeless, and so is religion in general.

People often look for lifelong companions on Earth so that they never are alone. What they don’t realize is that on Earth, a living thing cannot be amongst others forever. This means that a lifelong companion on Earth does not exist. However, there is a lifelong companion that people can have. That companion is Jesus Christ, the one and only Higher Power. He has more power than anything on Earth. Even a dog, a man’s best friend, cannot be around forever. Not only does Jesus’s companionship with us last forever, but He can can exercise abilities that life on Earth cannot do. He has more power, and He would make a great companion to every one of us. He has much more than a mother, father, brother, uncle, pet, or spouse. He is Jesus Christ, Son of The Great I Am. The Messiah, the Savior, the Holy One. Let Jesus into your hearts, and let Him be your eternal companion. He will never leave you. Have faith.
